We are actively recruiting for a Senior Director, Operations Payer Market for our Payer division.  This is a full-time position and is anticipated to commence as soon as qualified applicants are identified.  The Senior Director, Operations Payer Market role is a remote position with domestic and international travel, reporting to our US Operations lead. The Senior Director, Operations Payer Market oversees the onsite and remote processes and functions to facilitate high quality, cost effective delivery of services to the client.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with executive staff to refine and implement operations while ensuring budget, staff and priorities are aligned with the organizations core mission and values
    • Execute client delivery projects in line with forecasted contractual revenue expectations
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality coding and auditing services while managing for current and future growth of the organization
    • Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization
    • Act as subject matter expert for the software team to develop coding and audit tools and processes for propriety software along with overseeing user acceptance testing   
    • Assist in development of departmental policies and standard operating procedures
    • Work on multiple client platforms including encoders and Electronic Health Records and experience managing multiple sites or health systems
    • Revise and update audit policies and procedures in collaboration with the GeBBS executive team
    • Maintains strict physician and patient confidentiality and follows state, federal and hospital guidelines for the release of information.
    • Facilitating process re-engineering and improvements to enhance customer engagement
    • Ensuring attrition control & job enrichment at process levels
    • Work with delivery and training functions to create feedback loops from quality assessment to training and operations management
    • Support company Compliance Program by demonstrating adherence to all relevant compliance policies and procedures as evidenced by in-service attendance and daily practice; notifying management when there is a compliance concern or incident; demonstrating knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations as evidenced by appropriate handling of patient information; promoting confidentiality and using discretion when handling patient information.

Qualifications

  • AAPC or AHIMA Credential Required
  • Overall 10+ yrs. of experience out of which 5+ Years of direct management and 5+ Years of Risk Adjustment Audit experience.
  • Multiple EHR systems experience Required
  • Excellent verbal and written skills as well as intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite; Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize work to meet the needs of the client and assure performance of the audit team
  • Experience managing a sizeable coding / audit staff domestically; global experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Risk Adjustment for multiple lines of business including Medicare Advantage; ACA and Medicaid.
  • Experience managing projects from definition, to ramp to completion
  • Experience in staffing for risk adjustment
  • Good Understanding of Quality & Client requirement for Risk Adjustment Business
